Living Life Without Regrets
Living the Single Life
![]()
Many of us live our lives based on the assumptions of others. When we are growing up, we toe the line and follow the rules of the house. We hear the voices of our parents telling us what we need to do… while you are living under my roof… For some of us, we marry and move into our new homes with our husband or we move out into our own apartment. And the voices of our partners are in our heads. All the while the rules follow us – What you should wear, how you should behave, who you should speak to, where you should go, makeup or no makeup, short skirts or slacks, jewelry or no jewelry and the list goes on.
We should have laughed more, kissed the boy under the stoop, worn that short skirt, held hands more often with those you loved, given away more hugs, been more gently, kind and helpful to the man living in the door way, or had a second piece of that fudge/chocolate cake. Many of us live with regrets of what should have been, but never was and now, never will be. Take this moment to stop and take stock of what it is you want to do and find a way to do it. Pursue what you want relentlessly. Always do your best, Live without regrets, Live without should have and Live without I wish I had done …

Love like you’ve never been hurt,
And dance like no one is watching.â€
